Product Details

I live on the oldest road in Albuquerque and the reason it is called Mountain Road is because people walked or road their horses or burros all the way from the settlements near the Rio Grande river up to the mountains to get their wood. It was about a 12 mile trip! When I first came to Albuquerque, the house I rented in Old Town had a carving of a burro carrying wood. Years later, I re-created that image for this linocut print, signed and printed on Stonehenge paper. Image: 3 1/2" x 4" Paper size: 8" x 8" with foam core backing and plastic sleeve. Ready to frame!
