Working representationally, I love printmaking as a daily practice. The versatility of the medium allows me to constantly evolve my personal expression using hand-cut stencils, woodcut, and linocut. I can honor each distinctive style in my work or I can combine several printing techniques to create my own language in one monoprint. I like feeling that my printmaking skills echo the lineage of the hand-carved woodblock that is part of the tradition of Old and New Mexico. Each print pulled from my press is crafted with care and tradition.
